Key Points

Our Mission
Noble Care Home Health exists to honor the dignity of every person by delivering compassionate, consistent, professional care in the comfort of home. Every action you take as a Noble Care employee either strengthens or weakens that mission.

Core Values — CARES

  • Compassion — Meet every patient where they are, emotionally and physically.
  • Accountability — Own your actions and report honestly.
  • Respect — Treat every patient, family member, and colleague with dignity.
  • Excellence — Do your job to the highest standard, every visit.
  • Safety — Protect patients and yourself. When in doubt, ask.

Who We Serve
Noble Care provides two categories of home care services:

  • Non-Skilled Services: Companion care, personal care, homemaker services, respite care, transportation assistance, and overnight/live-in care — delivered by trained Home Health Aides and companions.
  • Private-Pay Skilled Nursing: Wound care, medication management, IV therapy, catheter care, chronic disease monitoring, post-surgical recovery support, and clinical assessments — delivered by Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).

We serve adults who need support maintaining their independence at home, from companionship and daily living assistance to clinical nursing care.

Organizational Structure
The agency is owned and operated by a Registered Nurse who serves as Administrator. The team includes:

  • Administrator / RN: Overall clinical and operational leadership
  • RNs and LPNs: Provide skilled nursing visits, patient assessments, and clinical supervision
  • Home Health Aides / Companions: Provide non-skilled personal care and companion services

All staff report to the Administrator or designated Clinical Supervisor. Never provide any service outside your scope of practice or not on your assigned task list without first obtaining supervisor approval.

Professional Growth
Noble Care invests in your career. Our Education Reimbursement Program provides $500–$3,000 per year toward certifications and nursing programs, based on your tenure. The longer you stay, the more we invest in you — from CNA prep at 6 months to RN bridge program support at 3 years. See the Education Reimbursement Policy (NC-F-14D) for details.

Ohio Licensure
Noble Care operates under an Ohio Home Health Agency license issued by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). This means we are subject to unannounced ODH surveys at any time. Always conduct yourself as though a surveyor is present.

On-Call
The agency provides 24/7 on-call coverage. The on-call number is provided in your employee handbook. If you have an urgent patient safety concern outside of business hours, you must call on-call — never make independent clinical or safety decisions without supervisor input.

Real-World Scenario

Maria is a newly hired companion caregiver. On her first shift, the patient's adult daughter says, "Can you help Mom take her medication? I'll leave it out on the counter." Maria knows from her orientation that non-skilled caregivers are not permitted to administer medications — that's a skilled nursing task. She politely explains: "I'd love to help your mom in every way I can, but medication management is outside my scope as a companion caregiver. I can remind her it's time to take her medication, but she'll need to take it herself. Noble Care does have skilled nurses who can help with medication management — let me call the office and we can get that set up." Maria then calls the office to document the family's request and initiate a skilled nursing referral.

Why this matters: Scope of practice violations are the most common reason caregivers face disciplinary action — and the most common cause of patient harm. Knowing the boundaries and communicating them calmly protects everyone.
