Non-medical home care (also called personal care or custodial care) provides assistance with activities of daily living — things like bathing, dressing, meal prep, companionship, and light housekeeping — without medical procedures. It's designed to help individuals remain safely at home who need support but not nursing-level care.

Every NobleCare caregiver undergoes a comprehensive criminal background check (federal and state), sex offender registry check, reference verification, and in-person interview before being placed with any client. All caregivers are also verified for employment eligibility.

We take the time to understand your loved one's personality, preferences, care needs, and schedule before making a match. Our goal is consistency — the same caregiver building a trusting relationship over time. If a match isn't right, we'll make a change quickly.

Rates vary based on the type of care, number of hours, and your geographic area. Private-pay rates typically range from $22–$35/hour for companion and personal care. We will provide a clear, transparent quote after your free in-home assessment. There are no hidden fees.

Non-medical home care is typically paid privately (out-of-pocket) or through long-term care insurance. Some Medicaid waiver programs may cover non-medical services for eligible individuals. Medicare generally does not cover non-medical home care. We can help you understand your options during your assessment.

No. We do not require long-term contracts. We believe you should stay with us because you love the care, not because you're locked in. Flexible scheduling and no-contract care is part of the NobleCare commitment.
