Caregiver / Home Health Aide (HHA or STNA)
About This Role
NobleCare Home Health is hiring compassionate caregivers to support older adults in their own homes across Central Ohio. You'll work one-on-one with a small number of clients — not rushed between a dozen rooms — under the supervision of our Registered Nurse.
What You'll Do
- Assist with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and toileting while protecting each client's dignity and privacy
- Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, and safe ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and monitor food and fluid intake
- Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and errands that keep the home safe and comfortable
- Offer companionship, conversation, and genuine human connection
- Provide medication reminders (caregivers never administer or handle medications)
- Observe and report any change in a client's condition to the supervising RN
- Document care provided at each visit using our mobile app
What We're Looking For
- Genuine compassion for older and disabled adults
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a criminal background check (Ohio BCI and FBI)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required — STNA and HHA certifications welcome, and we will train the right person

The Work
This is a non-skilled, non-medical role. Caregivers do not perform wound care, injections, tube feedings, or any nursing procedure, and never administer medications. You'll follow a written Care Plan for each client and always have an RN to call.
